WordPress web design
A WordPress website you can edit yourself, for a fixed $1,250
$1,250 · 10 pages · live in 2 weeks · prices in US dollars
The short answer
We design and build WordPress websites for a fixed $1,250 in US dollars, for small businesses in the US, the UK and Canada. That covers 10 designed pages you can edit yourself, a contact form that sends to your email, and hosting set up in your name. It’s typically live in 2 weeks.
Key facts
As of October 2026
- A WordPress website costs $1,250 (USD) with us, for 10 designed pages.
- It’s typically live in 2 weeks, counted from when you approve the design.
- You can edit every page yourself, and you get a recorded walkthrough of the three things you’ll most want to change.
- Hosting is set up in your name, on your card, and you pay the host directly.
- Plugins are kept to a short, named list, each one chosen for what it costs you in speed.
- Half is paid to start, and half at launch. Never all of it up front.
Can I edit the website myself?
Yes, without calling a developer for every change. You get the admin login and a recorded walkthrough of the three things you’ll most often want to change. If you’d rather never touch it, that’s fine too, and you’ll know what a change costs before you ask for it.
Who owns the website and the hosting?
You do, from the start. On handover day you have:
- Your domain, registered in your name, on your card, with you as the account holder.
- Your hosting account, or your Shopify account, in your name, on your card.
- The admin login, and every other login we created, in a document you keep.
- The theme and source files, in a folder you can download.
- A written list of every recurring cost: what it is, who it is paid to, how much, and when.
- A recorded walkthrough of the three things you’ll most often want to change.
- The name and email of the person to contact if something breaks in the next thirty days.
Which plugins do you use?
A short, named list, each one chosen for what it costs you in speed and listed in the handover. Paid plugin licences are named and priced before you agree to any.
What if I need more than 10 pages?
Pages beyond the 10 are quoted separately, in writing, and you decide before we build them.
Bigger than these? Membership sites, catalogues above the ceilings, custom features, anything with customer logins: quoted after the call, in writing, with its own list of what’s not included.
What have you built on WordPress?
Two you can open now:
- SEED (seed-pk.com): A website for a UK FCDO-funded programme.
- Convoa (convoa.com): An AI voice agent company in the United States. Nine industry landing pages sharing one design system, so their team can add a tenth without a designer.
How does a WordPress website project run?
- 01
A 20-minute call
What you sell, what you have now, what it needs to do. If a package fits, we say which. If nothing does, we say that too.
- 02
The scope, in writing
What’s included, what isn’t, the price, the dates, and what we need from you and by when. Nothing starts until you’ve agreed it.
- 03
The design
Your pages in Figma, with your products and your words in them. You go through it and mark what you’d change. Two rounds of changes are included.
- 04
You approve it
Only then does anyone write code. This is the step that keeps the last week quiet.
- 05
The build
You get a written note at the end of every week on what moved and what is next. You can open the staging site, which is the private copy of your site while it is being built, whenever you like.
- 06
Launch and handover
On a dated day. What you receive is listed further down.
- 07
Thirty days of fixes
Anything that breaks in the first thirty days after launch, we fix, at no charge.

What else do people ask?
How much does a WordPress website cost?
$1,250 in US dollars with us, for 10 designed pages you can edit yourself, with a contact form and hosting set up in your name. Hosting and domain renewal are separate, and you pay them directly.
How long does it take to build a WordPress website?
Typically 2 weeks. The clock starts when you approve the design, not when you first email, and the dates are written into the scope before you agree to anything.
What if I don’t like the design?
Two rounds of changes are included, and nothing is built until you’ve approved it. That’s the whole reason the design comes first.
What do you need from me?
Your products or content, your logo if you have one, and answers within a day or two when we ask something. The scope lists exactly what we need and when we need it, so nothing waits on a surprise.
Is the price actually fixed?
Yes, for the scope printed on the page. If you ask for something outside it, we quote that separately and you decide before we build it. Nothing is added to an invoice without your agreement first.
What do I pay upfront?
Half. The rest at launch. If you’ve been burned before, that’s the point of the split.
Do you work with businesses in the UK and Canada?
Yes. We work with businesses in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, at the same prices, in US dollars. Every message gets a reply within one working day, and calls are booked at a time that suits you.
